Hanging on to a life that no longer exists.
Taking all of lifes twists.
Still remember all those kids there
But they dont remember you.
Its not fair,
That they dont have a clue
As to who
You are.
Youve been through so much; gone so far.
Yet you cant let go.
Instead, at night, you cry into your pillow.
Why cant you just move on?
Theyre gone.
Why cant you just forget?
Stop giving yourself things to regret.
Hanging onto a life that no longer exists is pointless,
Yet you still do it and deal with all the mess.
Why?
Why do you do it when all you do is cry?
When your insides want to die?
Why?
