Beneath these broken stars Behind this lonesome night Glory comes from the flames Virtue calls from the ashes All lights fade All time bleeds This is where we are This is where well be Life will someday actualize Until then well wade in the water Watching these sunken visions Pass by in the frame of dreams This thought process keeps reoccurring In indefinite shapes of vibrant luminosity Faster still we believe we know where we are Only seeing the world in ways we want to see By twilight the fall of time Will begin to whittle away in the essence of plight This is what we know This is how well think A journey lost amongst the waves Only to be remembered with the passing of tides With the occurrence of each season You and I will be patiently waiting for life We will sit together and wait down by the bay Watching the ships pass by in the harbor

Not sure if that was meant to be a metaphor, but that was an amazing one if it was... if not, nice pun.
Well written.
