Smoke crawls around my face
I see pictures of the past
Re-runs of my pain
I wonder if it'll always be the same

Hoping for something
Wishing you the best
Holding my tongue as well as I can

Love one night
Pain the next

My heart thrown into a world
Where a million of the ravenous heartless
Steal away with pieces
Trying to redeem themselves

To each their own
But in the cold
My mind strays across the sky
Hoping and praying
The end is near

Can you be my redemption?
