Tossing and turning in bed
Thoughts swim in my head-
Think I have a few dollars...
Another voice in my head hollers-
Reminds me of other worries,
Like how time always hurries...
I lament on the past,
Swear this time was the last
But that's what I said before...
Oh, these things that I abore-
Maybe I'll go get sleeping pills,
Or maybe I'll run through the hills...
What do I have to do tomorrow?
Hopefully it keeps me from my sorrows-
Why didn't they call me before?
I need to go lock the door...
My secrets, will they keep?
HUSH! I'm trying to sleep....

Sorry for your sleeping troubles if you still have them but this one did make me laugh it had a lot of random thoughts in it but random thoughts sometimes make great poems
