Its Been Hours; Days
Maybe Even Months
Since You Walked Outta My Life
And Yet Your Memory Is Still Here

I See You EveryWhere I Turn
Your Picture In The Broken Frame
Your Fading Indention On Your Side Of The Bed
Your Ring Hiding In The Shadows Not To Be Seen

EveryThing Seems To Be Fading With Your Memory
Except The Pain
Except The Broken Heart I Conceal
Except The Tears I Only Cry At Night

You Said You Couldn't Stand To See My Heart Broken Again
So Did You Close Your Eyes
Either Time You Picked Me Up Off The Floor
Only To Break Me Again??

I Just Wanna Forget You
Forget The Way You Said You Loved Me
The Way You Made Me Feel As I Lay In Your Arms
Wrapped In The Warmth Of Your Black Heart

Why Can't The Pain Just Fade With The Memory?
I Know I Can Forget You If I Just Try
But The Pain....
The Pain Can't Be Forgotten...No Matter How Hard I Try

And I Know...Cuz I've Tried Before
Cuz Weve Tried Before
After Years The Pain Was Forgotten
But That Was The First Time

And This Time...
Well This Time
I Felt Something More For You
Something I Thought You Felt For Me

And This Time Around
I Let You Rip Open The Scars
And Create A Longer Cut
A Cut That Aint Gonna Fade Over Time Again

So Next Time You Think Of Me
Think Of What Was Us
Remember What You Did
What You Did TWICE

And Know That There Is No Third Time
No Third Chance
To Hurt Me Again
No Matter How Much I Think You Have Changed

Cuz This Time
I Know That You Will Never Change
Your Heart Is Cheap
And Will Never Be Worth Anything

Never Again Worth More Of My Time
Never Again Worth More Of My Love
Cuz Baby My Time Is Precious
And My Love Wont Be Taken For Granted

So When I Stop Crying
And The Soaked Pillow Case Now Lies Beneath You
Remember I Was The One Not Good Enough
And You Were The One That Felt The Need For Someone Else
