some flowers in the picture
'cause it seems the thing to do
to show some beauty in the soul
some red, green, purple and blue,
whilst sitting under my umbrella
true love will always be the rain
dogs at feet and glass in hand, i
know sun'l come around again,
garden harmony as angels sing
in forms and murmurs of feathers
lillies, morning glories, moonflowers
colour brightness brought by weather,
i used to dream of a star lighted stream
nature does not lie with kisses
awake i am, 'tis not a dream
so i fall face first into love.

I'm so glad you popped in with this beautiful image-filled piece.
I would love to slip inside this poem and just drift off into a most

HI Nessa,
This poem is perfect,and captures that feeling I have when sitting under my cedar tree watching my chickens peck. There is a Whitman simplicity to life found in this piece. I adore it. |
