Dreams

Contributed by KismetsPoet on Monday, 14th July 2008 @ 03:43:37 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

To my dreamworld, I escape
Floating through the sky
Find the rabbit, don't be late
What fun it is to fly

Forced back into reality
My dreams keep slipping by
Soothing water on my cheeks
My tears, I love to cry

Find my potion, drink it up
Look around with a sigh
Good-bye cold world, hello my dreams
How great it is to die

ahh a lovely piece of escapism here my friend, i thought the flow was spot on here and i was really sucked into it by the lovely pacing, i must admit it came as a schock that in the end it was about dying, really freaky lol, but i think you have made a link between dreams and death in that we dont fully understand either, though we are fascinated with both, great write here, really made me think!!!

ttyl!!
