Eternity Star
There upon the ashen wastes of the worlds verge they appear
Motherless children born of death and baptized in fire
Countless daemons their faces sunken and twisted
And eyes black as the endless sea of tranquillity
Daemons in the armour of angels
A blessing upon a cruel and heartless world
Harbingers of the darkest sadistic desires that fester in your soul
Hate, greed, pestilence and damnation
Words that drip from their forked tongues like venom
And there cold clawed hands reach out to violate purity
Across the world we scatter and flee
Seeking refuge from this plague of evil
Mothers cradle cowering children who weep for salvation
As a world once young and beautiful is scared and raped
Seas burn, mountains give way to endless chasms
A world in flames as the ending of eternity steps forth
Colours fade to black and a generation mourns its own passing
In life death is our only certainty should we run?
Or maybe just...embrace inevitability?
