She was once just a girl

She was once just a girl, who couldnt fight,
She was once just a girl, that didnt try,

Shes now a girl, who knows whats right,
Shes now a girl, whos learnt how to fly

Shes felt the pain, shes lived the fear,
Shes learnt to shout, when things arent right

She knows the score, she sees it clear,
Shes found the skills, to face the night

She wants others to know, that they have that strength,
She knows herself, how bad things can be,

She says whatever size problem, whatever the length,
She knows if you fight hard, then you can be free

Shes beaten the worst, though sometimes, still tough,
She wants others to see, beyond their struggles is light,

She wants them to know, that however rough,
She needs them to know, its so worth the fight.
