Theres this little light that keeps me going
When Im ready to quit
At first I thought it was hope
But it just didnt seem to fit
Because when everyone around me
Had none to spare
I had none myself
Even though its rare
Then I thought it was happiness
But I have none of that
I finally realized what it was
And it was friendship itself
Theyre not something to put away
Or hide on the top shelf
I love all of them and I hope
They love me too
And that will never change
No matter what they do
