My first vision of you
All dressed in hair raven black with dew
Dripping from your voice
A bird within your breast
Singing out its muse.
Enchanted mistress I must ask
Gods grace the gift you have
Full the kindness in your heart
Must your friendship never part
Your kindness from my own.
My Michelle in sweet repose
Nestles on my branch
Warming thus the meadow
Of blue and lonely souls.
Yes
My sweet Michelle
Taking off in flight
Weaving out her loving prose
Sewn in golden threads
Born within her heart.
Oh my dear dear sweet friend
Nestled softly in this nest
Deep within thy breast
Forever there to keep
Forever there to hold
Your heart upon my soul.
