Timeless Feelings
These feelings that we feel this day
The story reads like a stage play
A single spark is all this took
With a little tug to set the hook
Some softly spoken words had branded
And in our laps is where it landed
For this was fresh from out the gate
A timeless piece that could not wait
Had I had time to trace its track
Now far too late for a look back
I need this more than I ever knew
Who would have thought it would be you
But time is not all that much kind
And not enough we often find
To settle at a point this late
Some years had gone to dissipate
And when I think from now to then
I know Id do this all again
These feelings had been sown from seed
And then fashioned to fulfill the need

Stephen, this was so beautiful. Timeless indeed! I see so much reflection in
this and that reflection is like the breath and sigh of an angel-- soft and
oh so delicate. I love the way this rolled off the tongue and just escaped
the body with extreme ease. Timeless feelings, and a timeless piece.
