I meet your gaze from across the room
And Id swear you can hear my heart pounding from there
And I dont care
We run to each other but it feels like slow motion
I just need to touch you, breathe in your air
We melt into others form
Before this moment I had been torn
Tiny pieces were all that remained
From the day your light went away
But here you are, as clear as day
I can see you I can smell you I can taste you I can feel you
Just like I had before
Its like something from a movie
Everything fades except for your beautiful face
During our passionate embrace
The surrounding spins and spins
Until were in our special place
We walk along hand in hand
The temptation is more than I can stand
I go on tip-toe to kiss you but to my surprise
Nothing is there and when I open my eyes
Im alone in my bed, just as I was last night
I know you were there, clear as day
I could see you I could smell you I could taste you I could feel you
Just like I had before
And losing you twice is more than I can take
So I retreat into my dreams
Where my heart will never break
And I will never
Wake up
