Lies (Lack of Comprehension - Remix)

Contributed by xnoybis on Sunday, 27th July 2008 @ 04:42:12 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

The fear of
What can not
Be understood
In the confines
Of a simple mind

A lashing out
To shadow
The weaknesses that
Dwell within

Lies

The product
of the guilt
and pain forged as a weapon
To strike out
at those that had no part

Hungry for the feeling
Of feeling justified
In being right
Despite your

Lies

The self hatred
That drives your being
Serves as an excuse
To drive anyone
Not like you down

It comes so easy
The blame that diverts
Your fear of the unknown

Lies

The prices paid
The damage done
For your lack
Of comprehension

This one was so well written it was like a punch to the solar plexus... I loved it! It was edgy, and defined, and definately took some thought.. thanks for posting!
