Southern comfort smiles
Coffee cup
full, always full
With creamy warmth and smiles.
Busy bubbly waitress
Bussing busily round
Polished to a grin
Oily Chrome dispensers.
Smiling gringo cook
Orchestrates greasy-licious burgers
Broiling in their choir
Singing in the back.
Prancing local Rita
Moves from lap to lap
Dancing in the syrup
Spilled from flapjack stacks.
Same -ol, same-ol farmers
Moving down the rows
Reaping all the din
Sowing French-fry stacks.
