i saw you
you missed me
you've cried
and i left
i can't say sorry
it wouldn't matter if i did
you won't listen
and i wouldn't mean it
so what should i do
when we can't express ourselves
until i know
i'll sit here
thinking of the better days
days when i called you mine
when you slept in my arms
the days that have come and gone in the blink of our eyes
as i think, i realize what's to be done
you need someone better than me
you need to forget me
even the best times we shared as one
and it's the only way out

I feel the truth in this.. we have a similar style..
a truthful way of poetic rhythm.. am i right when i say this just flowed out of you?

A very painful write that conjures up so many long abandoned emotions.
