I think about you in the summertime -OH!

I feel in love one day on a cool winter's eve
For someone who told me they would never leave
I cherish waking up next to him each and everyday
He loves everything about me especially how my hips sway
My Carmel Chocolate mix Adonis Jon, but I call him Mr. Right
He's with me through the tough times and all the family fights
He's adventurous in bed and out he is funny
He cares deeply so he doesn't call me baby but honey
I met him one day walking in the park out of the blue
He showed me I could have my cake and eat it too
Just when I lost hope about never finding the right guy
I looked up and Jon was staring in my eyes
He brings me hope, joy and love
Is he really sent from above?
I don't know and I don't care
Just as long as he doesn't go anywhere
As long as he'll cherish me forever
And be here through the stormy weather
When he's around there's not a cloud in sight
This is why I crave my Mr. Right
Before him my life was taking a dive
Now I know what it means to survive
I thought I was complete that I didn't need a man
But in him I have found my best friend
He didn't just sit there and listen to my troubles
He's like my soldier, he ran with me and was down for my struggle
I'll never find another like him because to me he is unique
Sometimes I can't believe the way he looks at me
The tender way he makes me feel
Please tell me this is real
I want to keep you all to myself
The one thing I wish for like nothing else
The passion, the flame
With you in my life my whole world has changed
I never imagined things could be this nice
I won't even have to imagine what our future will be like
Because he is with me right now
The perfect man, lover and husband I have found
I finally have the recipe for love
He really must be from above
Sometimes he just looks at me and smiles
Could a girl get used to this after awhile?
He even tried to write poetry for me
The best man he must truly be
Right now I have to go to Jon, my Mr. Right
He patiently awaits in my dreams to hold me tight.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
