The monsters are running loose again
Now the wall has been knocked down
I can't escape the sadness
In memories I slowly drown
I fight the monsters every day
Sometimes I even win
But memories are flooding in now
Slowly filling within
I clutch at the sides of emptiness
Trying to stay afloat
But the sadness gets higher and higher
And someone has stolen the rope
I try so hard each and every day
I scream till my throat is raw
But I'm not sure how to go on
Will the monsters win this war

Hi Dawny!!
Sorry, only just looked on here after probably a year lol.
Good poem mate, as always, good to get those emotions down on paper.
Hope you are all well, my msn addresses got wiped from a scam email. I'll try to send you my poem that got modded, I warn you though, it's long!
