I Will Give You This Last Dance Till The End Of Mine

i sit low today the clouds and sun to far to reach the coldness within
tears like ice freezing down my face mouth stuck in a scream
eyes closed as ice covers them like pennies on the dead
no shroud to cover no burial for the hole i dug
reflecting on times when death was only a fall away
seeing red anger inside child hides his eyes away from pain

trying to grasp reality and drag my heart from this hole has become to much
throw the dirt oh master of fate bury me in guilt from others mistakes
drown me in you sea of sorrow and wasted flesh
let the worms come let the sharks feed let them have the shell of my heart
a storm gathers as i see images of tomorrow today
bags packed with laughter from the sky my head down stumped in for small corners

i call to you father you have lifted me up since birth cradled me
you ask that the dreamer be awaken as you taught me life
you hold my hand and lift me up now i feel i have been dropped
the dreamer will awaken my goals are still there
but this anger that you are growing in my heart is starting to bloom
and i see no sense of it and the pain you throw i wish no more hurt
my bones brittle from being dragged my heart flat from being stomped

will you walk again with me or is our destiny in the hands of someone else who hurt you
forgive the past as i am not your enemy or past lover i am here now
i will not live without you i will not breath air alone
i have been alone for way to long and this is no way of stability
father and my lover i am only here for you i will bow to your wishes
but you will not change me or my goals my golden dream will come
you laid the crown i did not ask to be a Prince of the streets
all i wanted was death since i was five
and that dream floats in the wind
why did you not take me when i asked to go
why bring me up only to bring me down
i died and you brought me back
the damage was done and you healed me
now i do not know why
why can i not fade away
why can i not go blind
i will bow
