Snake Ritual Recast
The snake slithers through the razors maze
Steamy, dark green mist-embrace
Of lovers shallow orgy
On-way scales pointing back
Past regrets
One step back,
One step back
Farther lays her den.
Slither ye!
Through the night
Iridescent glean
Silver sheen
Of silver, gold, green, and blue
Of Edens paradise where bread
Devils charm within thy breast
Tempting fruit that naught be fed
That casts thee to thy fate.
Yes
In cry of repentance kissed
Say I once again
Slither ye from thy demons dwelling
Brought forth with thy fruitful form
Thy wandering temptress talisman
Who basks in heated sin
Wrapped in the fullness of thy heat
Pulls me in the din.
Taste ye of thy soft white skin
In the valley once I plundered
Finding death thus seeping as thy treasure
Bringing forth not truth nor wisdom
But salty tear of honest wench
Whence stabbed upon forked tongue
Filling in its dampness there a chalice full of feathers.
A gift to gods to appease
An angles falling forth
Given in the tempting tease
Slender serpent slithers
Though sheds it naught thy sin
In ritual of self-righteousness
Rolling naked in the sheets.
Slithering snake
Sleek thy sumptuous throes
In canyons den amidst the valleys glen
Used
So used, by self
Potions pinch placed upon thy sword
Layeth now in stench
Ye eggs are cursed
Thy seed not merged
Brought true thy sinful treat
Of thou ancestors of crazed minds
Carried on in time
Seed by cancerous seed
And strengthened by thy sinful lineage
In ritual, and ritual
A thousand times recast.
