In The Next
The winter snows have melted away
And left us to this summers day
As we now bask in the seasons sun
So soon its started it will be done
To tell me that you love me so
And have not the strength to let it go
Its from this life; well grab all we can
I crave the soft touch of your hand
And not withstanding external change
Were enclosed together just the same
Ill forever hold you in my heart
Its so hard to breathe when were apart
If time would just once be our friend
And allow a little bit more to spend
This is beyond so much of this
Beyond the subconscious, consciousness
But if in the next, it should come about
Well pray that God will help us out
And grant us this request we ask
In hopes, its not too great a task
