Love and Romance

Contributed by studedude on Thursday, 14th August 2008 @ 05:19:32 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Love is a very strange feeling.

It can be one of the best emotions,

or it can be one of the worst.

They say to fall in love is foolish,

I say they are the fools.

Romance is the key,

that and communication.

they will keep love interesting,

and the flames of passion burning.

If you have them, life will last.

Life is fickle, love is fast,

we fall in and out of love so quick.

How will it ever last?

If we cannot contain our feelings,

the flame will burn to nothing.

Without the flame, there is no life,

without life there is nothing.

With nothing there is no love,

with no love comes no romance,

no romance, no passion.

Only fools will let the flame die,

only fools will lose their love,

we must keep the passion alive

and keep the life alive

we must always survive.

This is very well written, and it flows wonderfully. Love is hard to keep sometimes though, especially if you've been hurt. Welcome to YPDC! Looking forward to more posts from you.

while this not something i tend to write about it was very well put together. you have some things to think about in the poem which tends to keep me interested enough to get to the end..
you might wanna check line 13 too. im sure you meant 'our' not 'out'.

Welcome to YPDC
