When the world is spinning round and round
I don't exactly know when I'd come back down
All I need is you holding on to me
So I don't float away from what seems like a dream
My words aren't much to cherish
They aren't much to keep
But so were the feelings
That left me to weep
I can't hold you close
Can't look in your eyes
But a plan for us
I promise, I'll soon devise
My words aren't much to look at
There's not much to say
How I feel I can't explain
And I've tried in every way
I know it's not much
But please, know it's the truth
That every time I close my eyes
I dream of only you

it took me a couple of attempts to get passed the first couple of lines, but once i achieved that i was so glad i did. this poem is wonderful. it has sad undertones with the vague hint of happiness dotted through out. it was a pleasure to read. it reminds me of why i am so glad to share my life with the guy i do..
