I believe its clear, as I sit here, that you will have no part of me.
Its a shame, for I remember the day you came, never happier a man could be.
Friends that had a bond, now youre gone, Im left frozen like a lock without a key.
.
I fight with the pain; its a strain, yet a small price to pay for the moments of glee.
Still my mind, struggles to unwind, this undeniable shroud of mystery.
The heavens and earth it be, to make you happy, but youd prefer the sea.
If separation is what you sought, then thats what youve got, feel free.
I write and rhyme, and you never have the time, maybe someday youll see.
