The melody breaks through the heart
The lyrics flow through the soul
Like a never ending river
It filled the eyes with tears
Lost in the voice of this song
So soft and tender
Following the music on its journey
Traveling from the high note of joy
To its low notes of happiness
Wanting the music to just continue
As I remember once again
The kiss that still lingers on
The touch that still remains
The hug that is still warm
You and me together
That feels like yesterday
