Her fingers cool, on my heated skin So long is this, my cold chagrin What was can be, as strong, what was I ask at night, amongst the stars A child-like hope, a wish is made Too long to tell, for hope to fade Relinquish not, fall to the fray Her cool touch, is what I pray That I may find my way again To her sanctum where it all began

Great expression of a feeling that was born of angst caused by the miss of your beloved, and your love for her. |

I love this! It's short but still complex. Great flow and rhyme scheme, you've got everything here in this poem done beautifully.
Great write :D
