Julius Caesar went down to the Forum, To inititate a legislative quorum, When he arrived there, Trouble was in the air, Had he a cell-phone, He could have called home, "Honey, assassins are here looking to make quota, Hop a chariot and bring me my iron toga." Hail Caesar! You randy old geezer, Not known for the company, You used to keep, Nonetheless, History lies at your feet, And in constructing, This respectful ballad, In your honor, I just ate your salad.

karoody -
thank you for your comment - I like to use 'flashbacks' from history as subject matter because you can't get sued.
