Trapped in the same place again No windows to see the world changing outside No way to see your smile again Enclosed in these walls forever
Never thought I would miss the rain Just the feeling of being engulfed Just something other than darkness The salt water from my eyes are starting to burn
Maybe if I hit my head against these walls again I hope they fall before I fall I hope you didnt forget me Ill see you again if only in the rain

This entire write called out to me on many levels.
The mention of the rain really added to the feel of this.
Deeply emotive and a well written poem.

I hate doing this, as I've told many others, but this line is fabulous,
"Never thought I would miss the rain"
Just, WOW! That is a poem in and of itself! There is so much emotion
just in those words alone. They surround the reader and reach into
his very soul! That is what poetry is.. a capturing of the soul. To
take it and make it bleed feeling !! Well done!!
