Please, when the trees fall and i'm stuck inside
when the clouds fade and all the sun shines hide
Grieve for me
Remember, when the ice it shatters
and the molten rocks
when the earth gathers all for this one last shock
Grieve for me
when my heart gives out, to your loathsome banter
or when the words you spat only left me unanswered
I'll grieve for you
no matter what
before you're through
If you slipped and fell
down the canyon's grand
or gripped on tight to an unsteady hand
you would fall and fall
my love without
but I would grieve for you
without a doubt
