In distance

Topic: SadPoetry

I am here
not there
these words are never meant to be meant
When in touch a bird is born
desire is only an object
sometimes a fraud

Broken umbrellas of faith
there's paint from the sky dyeing my hopes
in days everything turns into sweing
in the night i'm proud of what i've done
then the day returns

Dead cracked bones lay on the streets we walk
there's one lying on each heart that felt
somewhere among these fields
i also killed some dreams

Molecule by molecule
words travel
feelings dont
the truth won't
Some stories are best kept beneath the soil
tears visit them from time to time
until a child of happines is grown
if it ever will
Some stories are meant to be forgotten
because tears visit them from time to time
the child becomes a man
and reality conquers the world
killing the man
Some stories are best kept muted
because reality hears it all...

It's silent now

I am here
not there
will you ever know
