my hero!
you rape me
with your silence.
it's not an indicator of me.
only you. . .
just more wasted time.
feel free
to pick the remains clean,
once more,
at my expense.
feel free
to laugh out loud, also.
long after I'm gone,
you'll still be alone
pretending. . .
entertaining yourself
at some other sick table,
sucking the life & death
out of every other
& anything real enough
to make you hatefully
comfortable. . .
or uncomfortable.
are you comfy yet?
. . . do you need me to cry
. . . to stab my heart
with your dark lies. . .
heal a tiny bit
& peel the scabs
from my blind eyes. . .
only to fall dangerously close
to becoming
as you are?
what do you have
after all hope is gone?
still, there is that one thing .
a tiny scar of passage,
resembling teardrop, fallen.
it is etched into the layer of my heart,
known only as ache.
I found it there, apparent,
by accident, one day. . .
tettering between a thought
& a memory of you.
a sad conclusion,
not what you'd meant to be?
& me too.
I'm no longer me. . .
just a fragile girl,
who didn't want to choose
the thought
that hated you.
I am very close to you now
as I can see straight through.
silence is my answer
to you, my brother. . .
let me reach
into the quiet. .. .
I meet myself in you.

Raw with lots of emotion...
I like the "suck the life and death" point...
Its very hard to bridle emotions like these and you do a very good job of it.

wow i liked this. im not too sure i can actualy relate but thats not what is important. what is important is that you made me feel the way you feel if even just for a moment and that is what poetry is all about. great job

| Geeze some very descriptive lines and sooooooooooooooooo filled with emotion. I definitely do not completely understand it but it sure conveyed anger and hurt. Think I got that part! |
