Have You Forgotten
I see Americans in the street Marching to and fro Tell me brothers and sisters Where were you not so long ago
Have you forgotten the screams The faces of terror that day Have you forgotten your brothers and sisters The terrorist murdered and swept away
Have you forgotten brothers and sisters How innocent Americans died Friends and neighbors jumping to their deaths Have you forgotten how you cried
Have you forgotten those patriots Knowing they were going to die Yet in a Pennsylvania field Sacrificed for you and I
Have you forgotten other heroes Who lost their lives that day Who without hesitation gave their all Oh brothers and sisters forget not I pray
We are all Americans Children of freedom and liberty Standing for the human right To chose what he will be
Now the time has come The price of freedom must be paid Some are reluctant Some are afraid
Today we weigh the cost of freedom Like our fathers at Americas birth Tell me brothers and sisters What is freedom worth ?
