Baby Adam

Contributed by nothingness on Saturday, 4th October 2008 @ 06:25:41 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

I can not do it, how can I forget you

Your gentle face your eyes a baby blue

Closed so tight in a silent plea

Begging god , please dont take me

Your mother voice still ringing clear

My baby my baby , her voice filled with fear

I tried I promise I really really tried

Even though I did my best, you still died

Where are you now, are you watching me

Angry, because I couldnt get you free?

Or are you asleep, blissfully unaware

Far away out of your mothers loving care?

If you can hear me, your mother is alive

Your sister too, she is turning five

Your father, not a day goes by

He doesnt sit down and silently cry

Life isnt the same with out his baby boy

You are still the apple of his eye, his pride and joy

Please wait for your family, and wait for me

I am so sorry, that I couldnt get you free

This is so heartbreaking..... There is nothing as painful as the death of a baby... except maybe witnessing it... I am sorry you had to experience this and for the family involved.
Good write...
Hugs
Jenni

It probably doesn't do any good to tell you if you did your best, there was nothing more you could do. There is a reason for everything. I hope the writing helps. May God bless.

what an experience to be a part of. the death of a child is a hard reality to swallow. i hope this helped you as well. your emotional turmoil is obvious. yet, your peice possesses the grace it should for this little angel.
thank you
kara
