Where are we going I ask once but when you dont answer I dont ask again
My hand sweating heart beating so fast I feel its going to pop out my chest
In my mind I knew where we were going but I pretended I didnt know
You standing there with a blank look on your face
Your face so pale bags under your eyes
Mommy where are you taking me!?!
Still no answer
In my mind I never wanted to stop walking
Cause I never want you to leave me again
All these questions in my head
Why is she doing this?
Where is she taking me?
Why does she look so sick all the time?
Is she going to leave me again?
Please help me PLEASE!
I dont want you to leave me again!!! (I yell)
She just stares straight in front of her and pulls me harder
What can I do to change mommy WHAT?
She still dont answer me
This silence is driving me crazy
So I stop and tell her Im not moving till you tell me where were going
She reaches down and grabs my hair
But still no words
Why wont you talk to ME!!!!
She finally says something because youre too young to understand
In my mind I think Im too young????
I understand clear you dont love me!
You dont care what happens to me!
Youre not a good mom!
She stares at me like she wants to kill me but she doesnt say any thing
Then all of a sudden we turned around
All that walking was for nothing because we ended back at home
My mom takes me to my room and tells me
There is only so much love in a persons heart and hers had been drained out of her
So you dont love me!?!
She looks and says I will when I can love myself
I reply well Im not too young to know youre selfish
I LOVE YOU and dont care if you me no more!!!!

wow, rox,
This is some heavy duty writing.
I can see how it hurts but I need my mothers luv. She's deceased but here-n-my dad are angels watching over me.
You never know what's eating at her but I can understand not luving my self. Of course my kids, even tho they are grown with their own children can always talk to me.
I was very fortunate to have a mother and father that taught me luv. Still , I did things I wouldn't do now but God handles that part for me. The importent thing to me is the forgiveness at the foot of the cross. Still my chirdren still luved me along the bumps, hills, huricanes in life. Un conditional luv is what I found when I found me.
keep writing, sweetie cause you know there's healin in the written word no matter how painfull it gets.

people around us have their own problems and don,t respond the they should
but dear as you should in the end

love is about giving and not expecting anything in return becuz such is love |

A very emotional scene you drew for us. And you drew it very well, I could see the two of you, the whole time...Very sad
It's so hard when someone becomes so estranged from you. especially when that someone is a parent i think. your heart just doesn't see that day coming. you are blind-sighted...wishes for brighter days
