When they say we can't be friends

Contributed by smilez101 on Sunday, 12th October 2008 @ 12:35:44 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

To SHANE..
The ongoing unity of our sweet catastrophe
When things always seem to be going right
But pain always marks its self forth in our eyes
In a disguise of lustful markings....
In our past
What was it about us
That we can never
Get past the trust
Your eyes will always be scarred
With disbelief
Ever since u seen what was me
With another guy
Sex... was not even in play
It was just the thought of me touching
A chest that was not yours..
And at the same time I could not even say
His chest was mine then either.
Our relationship/ friendship
Or time period
Of re grasping the love
That we shared before

Was not even in demand then
YOU did not want me
Something about me then
Made you say the most hurtful things
Ears could ever hear
So in fact I cannot fathom your
Ongoing animosity towards me..
Your anger is just not real
I think this is an excuse
For you to close all the doors
Shut in my face
So that I can never break past the
Barrier that keeps me from you and your heart
You don't want to be friends anymore
Because you still love me
And being friends will make us complicated
.. So what more is there to us
I must say
We don't have to be lovers
I can see that trust will always be the issue
But taking your friendship away from me
Will bring forth the most damage my heart
Could ever endure
