I stare at old pictures and force myself a tear
I stand here, and watch you say goodbye
For fear, you will not return
And thus far, you have yet to show up
Is what I said too much
Do you miss my touch
As much, as I loved your hands
Your hair, and your eyes
Everything about you
Is now nothing at all
Framed on the wall
Dust collects on memories well spent
Lament, a connection left for dead
I watch closely on the busy streets
People rush by
Excitement builds when a girl similar passes
Let down, it is not your eyes behind those dark sunglasses
Maybe this is how it has to end
My searching in random places
All things can not make amends
No smiles lead me to pretend
That we were in love
That you were my best friend
Instead, alone, I become stiff
Immobilized, drowning in the depth
If I never see you again
How can I live
One more kiss
Is all I would wish

jyss, I can't say much here. Just know, this affected me. I reached an
epiphany after reading this, and for that, well .. wow, thank you.
Aside from that, the ache that lingers long enough to create such
beauty, serves a purpose, however inconvenient or annoying.
This is just damn amazing.
