Losing You

Contributed by rebelwcause on Saturday, 18th October 2008 @ 12:40:08 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

My life is so much better now that I've gotten you off my mind
I got me a true love woman who takes up all my time
She will never leave me i know this for a fact
She never tries to deceive me and i know she's got my back
She never takes it personal when i feel the need to fight
And never concerns herself too much with who is wrong or right
She stands right beside me when clouds overshadow the sun
And the way i find myself loving her is the best thing I've ever done

I thought it would be too hard to ever love someone this way
but now I'm here in love again and i have to say...
I'm finally over loving you, i needed a love tried and true
You could not love me under the gun and the way i find myself losing you
Is the best thing I've ever done

I can definitely feel where you are coming from and where you are going. I think everyone who hasn't already found that great match is looking for it. Very well written. It would make a great song.

You captured a sense of power in this write.
The overcoming and moving on.
Nicely done.
