seeking the truth

Contributed by shizzle on Thursday, 23rd October 2008 @ 11:32:46 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Have you ever tried to find the truth and ran into a dead end?
Have you ever tried to find love and been hurt?
People have painted a picture of the way things should be
to justify there actions in hopes of erasing their guilt
and they sold it to the world and told people
"this is how it is".
And people look amazed at all the pretty colors
that disguise the ugly picture that presents a lie.
If you refuse to settle for just what they say this life is
and all its going to be.
Why conform, open your eyes to look past a deceiving picture.
Life cant be held in a frame.
We see the ones who are rich and still unhappy.
We have followed societys rules only to be left empty.
Whether its the way you should act,
the cloths you should wear,
whats cool, or believing what they told you.
When you follow others actions or just try to be yourself,
you will end up like everyone else or only go as far as you can take yourself
and lead just as an empty life as the ones who have nothing but money.
When its all said and done how does their fate differ from a dogs?
People have painted a picture of the way they think God is.
Find out for yourself. God is not responsible for pain.
God is love. He loves us enough
for us to make are own decisions
that sometimes cause us and others pain.
I cant and will not tell you how to live your life.
I can only Hope I have inspired you to find the truth for yourself.
