in the distance there is a light
reflecting off the clouds
i can't identify it
i have even asked around
people say it's been there
tho i know it just appeared
my interest keeps on growing
to find what's shining near
i have traveled roads of darkness
i have met heartless human beings
still i keep on marching
till i see what starts that beam
every hurdle i will leap
every mountain i will climb
every day i will chase
until the end of time
my home is in the darkness
where i roam forever more
as a shadow raised on violence
where a scream is all that's pure
in the distance there's a light
i have been watching for a while
after all this time i see i found
what's shining is her smile
