I glance at you one seat over
With sunglass worthy spying
I watch you -
youre unaware
You scroll your I-pod
readjust the pillow
try to sleep
but keep waking up
In secret-code
I write of you
With sci-fi hearing
I catch every word
You laugh
and giggle
and text him
unaware
that Im watching
You dont know
I write
in coded words
You dont know
I think of you
Youll NEVER know I watch you
with show-worthy abilities
because
you text him -
not me -
and because
I am
a
girl
