I will rage against the dying of the light

As my days on earth have gone flying past me
My troubles never seem to die
My heart aches they outlast me
And I hear my mother begin to cry
What have I become? Who am I today?
Will my deer mother ever stop crying?
Will that dark angel ever stop trying?
Or has he come to carry me away?
He can stand outside my door
Like so many times before
Time and again
We can go round and round
But he will never win!
He can tell me it's over, the time is right
But I will not go quietly into the night
I will rage against the dying of the light!

| yes a nice piece, but i feel if you take lines and huge inspiration from an existing peice by dylan thomas you should really mention it as a note before the poem, |
