The truth
Behind the faded
Mask
Tears
Run slow
Black
And blue
She sits
And wonders
Why
One more time
One more
Damn night
In Hell
But
She doesn't run
Her heart
Keeps her there
And
The promise
That he'll change
But
He doesn't
Just another black eye
Brocken rib
And such
No one knows
No one cares
What happens
Behind
The closed doors
So
The pain
Never ends
And
She can't escape
Until
Its just to late
And everyone wonders

It is so sad that this happens so much and people stay because they fear unfamiliarity. I have been here. I was beaten. It took so much courage to leave but wounds cannot heal until they are removed from the thing causing the damage.
