I sit in a corner
a lonely corner
and wonder
Is it safe to laugh
Is it safe to learn
Is it safe to cry
Is it safe to love
Is it safe to trust
Is it safe to play
Is it safe to comfort
Is it safe to fail
Is it safe to try
Is it safe to at least move
Well is it?
Please tell me....
I'm too afraid to live

This poem made me focus on our little island which is becoming more and more unsafe to live in...You are correct when you say without experiences life is meaningless, but sometimes the price we pay is too high...
