I sit here alone and broken-hearted once again
The tears streaming down my saddened face
Why my heart still beats I will never know
I feel so betrayed, unloved... void.
How can I get rid of this heart wrenching pain?
Maybe Ill wonder to an imaginary place.
No... I cant, this pain I will have to outgrow.
Next time Ill just remember what to avoid.

So many of us have ventured down the path of Love only to find that we took a wrong turn, stumbled somewhere along the way, and now we are lost and hurt. It can be a lonely place, and in that loneliness we seem to lose our sense of self purpose. Your poem is certainly one that many people will be able to relate to. I know I can. I appreciate the honest emotion in your write, and I enjoyed reading it.
