You left your lipstick on my neck
Right next to the bruises left by your hands
Divine beauty portrayed in a manner so evil
You always knew I'd die for your kiss of death
Ready and willingly give you my last breath
My need to please you breeds from within
I love you so much it bleeds through my skin
Razorblade lines tell no lies
See yourself in the form of a thousand black butterflies
Pouring from my glazed over eyes
Burning traces into the sunset
You left my body stained with regret
Tragedies that I cannot forget
Still I'd nail myself to a cross for you
Sacrifice myself a thousand times through
You've always been my calm before the storm
Inside your coldness I find warmth
Completely beyond what I could ever explain
So I'm just going to stand here singing your name through the pain
Building you a home from my shattered bones
Just promise me my broken heart won't die alone
Gently touching the surface of forever
I'm murdering angels in your name
Just so we can be together
As I rest in a bed painted black
Marked by your lipstick and bruises....
Patiently waiting for you to love me back.
