be the summer wind
to caresses your skin
I would be cooling rain
twirling jasmine bouquets
pressing round
that delicious mouth of yours.

I am hope if you need that
in a storm
the port;
the beacon in the night
a soothing hand
on your fevered brow.
Your lover
when you need that,
a steadying hand
when anxiety attacks
Come close here
sit by me
I am what I need to be
taking that energy
you give
and having
it multiply
inside me.
I can be
because
you are all these for me
synergistic harmonies
giving back what you gave
me
in the first place;
and we
become one
out of two
no longer just me
you
no longer
just you.
