Are You Worth It

Is my love for you strong enough?
Are you really worth the fight?
We're the best of friends during day time
And lovers by the cover of night.
I struggle with my feelings
Yet I know what's right and wrong
And when I'm ready to give it up
Here you come along.
You smile that beautiful smile
You make me feel that wonderful way,
When i'm with you they can all go to hell
I don't care what they'll say.
Deep down I think we both know it,
Our love can never be
Cause they'll never accept it
The negative is all they'll see.
I don't ever want to hurt them
And I know you feel the same,
I can't toy with peoples emotions
This isn't just some game.
We started out as friends
But my love for you has grown
And although I feel this way for you
Should we let our love be known?
