Through the dark lace of tree limbs
There came silver and golden lights
Dancing forward growing larger
Were they fireflies this lonely night?
Through my tears like watery stars
I watched as a circle they formed
Swaying softly through the night
Lifting away my inner storm
I quietly closed the door
And crept through garden gate
I had to see what caused the light
I just knew I could not wait
Before me the magic of my youth
Opened and danced with glee
I saw Fairies, Unicorns and Dragons
Every bit of magic I would need
To lift my spirits and help me
Weather this long stormy night
They laughed and sang and came to life
Making everything seem alright
Magic from childhood came flushing forth
Enveloping my very soul
Healing all the darkness I held
Making my spirit once more whole
Why did you wait so long my child?
The Unicorn said with a grin
Did you not know you always held?
This magic deep within
