People live their lives,
Faster than ever before
No one takes time to appreciate,
The beauty around them anymore
But Ive seen the stars, and Ive seen the ocean, Ive even seen a rainbow on a cloudy day,
Ive felt the soft touch of a newborn baby, and even heard my favorite artist play
Ive seen a lot of beautiful things
But the best of all is you
When you
Bite your lip and you look at me,
And say its me, with whom you want to be,
Your voice is as pretty as a symphony
And when you
Reach out slowly and grab my hand,
My knees go weak, I can hardly stand,
My heart beats faster than a marching band
Cause Ive seen the stars, and Ive seen the ocean, Ive even seen a rainbow on a cloudy day,
Ive felt the soft touch of a newborn baby, and even heard my favorite artist play
Ive seen a lot of beautiful things
But the best of all is you
Cause I see the stars when I look in your eyes, blue just like the ocean on a cloudy day,
And when I see your smile, even when Im down, it makes me happy when skies are grey,
