With a hole in it
Is what the knot in my throat
Is choking me to expel
But I will not let it
For the cheap victory of knowing
Privately
That I am
Better than you
If only in this
That I did not give voice to
The knot in my throat
You damn son of a *****
And my defeat only makes
The knot bigger and sicker
Never knowing nor caring
That I ever loved you.
